P3 For Texas, Inc. is a nonprofit corporation formed to promote the growth and development of infrastructure in Texas by fostering innovative policy solutions for project delivery, including through public-private partnerships.
P3 for Texas is the principal advocacy group for the Public-Private Partnership Act in Texas (the P3 Act). The P3 Act creates new delivery methods that will allow governmental entities to bundle planning, design, construction, operations, and maintenance for public projects into a single procurement. These procurement methods are commonly known as public-private partnerships (P3s).
P3 legislation has been widely adopted across the United States, due to the extensive cost savings and efficiency of P3s. Texas needs this legislation to remain competitive with other states in infrastructure development.
